Heatable drinking bowls - How they work The heating of the drinking bowl is carried out by a special heating cable with integrated thermostat for automatic regulation. If the temperature of the drinking bowl falls below about 5°C the heating cable switches on. The valve and the drinking bowl are simultaneously heated until a temperature of 15°C is reached.
