SINGLE MERGER

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Oxbo 2112 and 2114 single pull-type mergers are designed for smaller producers, offering the benefits of larger mergers at a more affordable price. These mergers aim to improve efficiency and productivity in hay production.
Reasons to Merge:
  • Reduces ash and leaf loss, increasing milk production per cow.
  • Faster drying of hay compared to traditional windrows.
  • Eliminates roping of windrows.
  • Improves weather control, enabling 'hay-in-a-day' production.
Productivity and Versatility:
  • Heavy-duty head design similar to the 2334 triple merger.
  • Center swing chassis allows discharge to the left or right, enhancing versatility.
  • Full-width pickup head supports wide swathing and faster drying.
  • Can pick up in any direction, not limited by windrow direction.
  • Self-contained PTO-driven hydraulic system requires a minimum of a 70 HP tractor.
Conveyance System:
  • Available in 12 or 14-foot widths with a 40-inch deep belt for handling heavy crops.
  • 5° rear slope reduces crop loss by moving it further back on the conveyor.
  • Heavy-duty pickup drive motor manages heavier crops without slowing.
  • Split tine, rubber-mounted pickup tines minimize rock pickup and crop damage.
  • New cam drive profile ensures smooth windrows.
  • Conveyor drive motors on each end pull the belt in either direction.
Skid Shoe Design:
  • Coil spring system allows for light ground contact.
  • No gauge wheels, enhancing crop pickup.
  • Manual adjustable skids with a pin for pickup height adjustment.
Specifications:
  • 2112: 12-foot dimensions, 17-foot working width, 12-foot conveyor length.
  • 2114: 14-foot dimensions, 20-foot working width, 14-foot conveyor length.
  • Both models have a 40-inch conveyor belt width and require a 70 HP tractor with a 3-point hitch (Category II, III, or III-N).
  • Oil reservoir capacity is 27 gallons, with a maximum transport speed of 20 mph.
