Phantom Double-Ended Commercial Electronic Ballast Electronic ballasts are more efficient compared to traditional magnetic ballasts. An internal electronic microprocessor allows the ballasts to run at a higher working frequency, creating a higher lumen output. This higher output means you can run fewer fixtures and save on energy and equipment costs, compared to traditional magnetic ballasts. The DE electronic ballasts are designed to work with HPS double-ended lamps that need special running frequencies to drive these high output lamps.
