PHOTOBIO is a lighting solution developed by photobiologists specifically for horticultural professionals. The mission is to provide the best lighting solutions tailored for horticulture. The unique spectra used in PHOTOBIO fixtures have been extensively tested to induce specific photomorphogenic responses in crops, improving nutritional value, extending shelf life, enhancing pigmentation, increasing active compound production, and shortening flowering times. The focus is on plant biologically active radiation (PBAR) between 280–800nm, which includes UV-A/UV-B and far red, rather than just photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) between 400–700nm.
- PHOTOBIO•T: Available in models S7, S4, and S1, designed for flowering and research, vegetative and flowering, and flowering applications respectively. Each model operates at 300W with varying efficacy (2.7, 2.5, and 2.1 µmol/Joule) and is IP65 rated.
- PHOTOBIO•T DUO: Designed for larger scale applications, replacing 1000W HID fixtures with 600W models, offering similar spectrum options and efficacy as the PHOTOBIO•T.
- PHOTOBIO•M: Full spectrum LED for multi-level indoor cultivation, delivering 1500 µmol/s over a 4' x 5' area, with models S7, S4, and S1 available.
- PHOTOBIO•V: A modular solution for vertical farming, with models for tissue culture, germination, propagation, and vegetative growth, offering high efficiency and easy installation.
- PHOTOBIO•I: Designed for intercanopy lighting in greenhouses, providing a 320˚ beam angle to enhance yield by reducing shading.
