Pas Reform's SmartHeat™ 1 is designed for short periods of heat treatment during egg storage to mitigate the negative effects of prolonged storage. This process enhances hatchability and chick quality by increasing viable cell production in the blastoderm.

Procedure

Preparation: Eggs in setter trays are moved to SmartHeat™ for treatment.
Preheating: Eggs are preheated to 77°F for uniform temperature.
Heat Treatment: Temperature is raised to 90°F for uniform eggshell temperature.
Cool Down: After treatment, a cooling period is initiated.
Return to Storage: Eggs are returned to storage once cooled.
Repetition: Additional treatments are recommended if storage exceeds 14 days.
