How it Works
- Ventilation is controlled based on a programmable CO2 setpoint from transfer to chick take-off.
- The valve position is gradually increased to prevent excessive ventilation.
- Monitors relative humidity increase as chicks hatch, creating ideal conditions for a shorter hatch window.
- Field trials show >95% of chicks hatch between a relative humidity increase over set point and a 3% decline from peak humidity, known as the 'hatch peak'.
- A 'hatch alert' is triggered on the SmartTouch™ interface when chicks are ready for pulling, without opening the hatcher door.
