Overview
The Paul Mueller Company’s PyroPure Thermodrive Still is a steam-heated distillation system designed to produce high volumes of pyrogen-free water with a specific resistance exceeding one megohm/cm. It is compatible with various feedwater sources such as well water, pretreated water, and condensed steam. The system is space-efficient and offers excellent expansion potential.

Specifications
The system offers capacities ranging from 15 to 200 gallons per hour (GPH) with purity levels from 300,000 ohms to 1 megohm at 25°C. It is adaptable to different feedwater conditions and features stainless steel for all pure water contact surfaces. The system has a fast startup time, producing distillate almost instantly, and its modular, expandable design can accommodate up to four evaporators.

Output Capacities and Utility Requirements
The output capacities range from 15 GPH to 200 GPH. Utility steam requirements vary from 138 lb/hr (62 kg/hr) for the 15 GPH model to 1,849 lb/hr (836 kg/hr) for the 200 GPH model. Boiler horsepower requirements range from 4 hp (39 kW) to 53 hp (523 kW). Radiant heat loss ranges from 6,000 Btu/hr (1,512 kcal/hr) to 22,000 Btu/hr (5,544 kcal/hr).
