Compact flail mowers Series KP Our KP Series Flail Toppers are specially designed for topping pastures, green spaces, parks, camping sites, vineyards etc. Their compact but very strong construction allows these machines to work with tractors from 18 kW (25 HP). They are equipped with a full width self cleaning rear roller, placed close to the flail rotor for optimal terrain adjustment and to prevent unwanted ground contact thus unneccessary wear of the flails. To protect the bearings of the large diameter rear roller, the bearings are fitted with unique covers to prevent humidity, dust and mud from entering. Standard on all “Perfect” Flail Mowers. The 0,8 kg (1% lb) special flails with single cutting edges ensure clean and finest cut of grass, rushes, reed stems, pruning etc. up to 3 cm (1%”). They are fitted to the electronically balanced vibration-free flail rotor with heavy bolts and replaceable steel bushes. Power requirements depend entirely on t he type of work. A PTO shaft with overload protection clutch must be used in case of oversized tractors. Also available with hydraulic offset feature or as front mounted model with a 540 or 1000 rpm gearbox that accepts either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation. SCHLEGELMULCHGERATE SERIES KP/KW
