| CC | Cooling coil The cooling coil is used for two purposes, cooling the air and dehumidifying the air. It’s a combination of copper tubes and aluminum fins for maximum heat transfer efficiency. Inside the copper tubes flows chilled water, cooling down the tubes and the aluminum fins. When warm air passes through the coil, heat gets transferred from the air to the tubes and fins and eventually to the water.
