Remote control APT-P796 Area Preparation Tractor for humanitarian demining The robust industrial remote control unit gives the operator control over all essential APT functions and provides visual feedback for some elements. The operator can easily control the tractor speed, the rotation speed of attachments, the steering, the differential gear linkage, the front and rear oil distributors, the three point linkage lift, and the PTO shaft. The operator can take control of each of the two steering axis independently, so making the machine unusually manoeuvrable. The operator controls APT’s attachments using a set of four unidirectional proportional joysticks. The LED indicators and display that are mounted on the RC transmitter provide feedback information including indicating which steering switching modes are active, engine parameters, working parameters, warnings and alarms.
