Valves with the material combinations specified below are electrically conductive due to their antistatic seals. There is no significant heating as well as electrostatic charging due to the switching process. Valves with these properties do not fall within the scope of the ATEX directive (see §38 of the ATEX guidelines to directive 2014/34/EU, 3rd edition of May 2020) and must therefore not be marked with the ex marking (letters "Epsilon-x" in a "hexagon"). Valves which ensure a certain electrical conductivity due to their material combination are consequently and for easy recognition marked with the full text "ATEX" on the valve body. Valves are marked as follows: - Manufacturer logo and name - Nominal size with connection - Material combination and nominal pressure rating - Made in Germany with date of manufacture - Article number and full text "ATEX” The minimum safety and health requirements are met by conformity with the following standards: DIN EN ISO 80079-36, DIN EN ISO 80079-37, EN 1127-1.
