■ LOOSE MATERIAL MIXERS MIXER H PRINCIPLE 1. Basic mixing effect is provided by rotation of two rotors, each of which is equipped with two counter-wound spirals. This follows in intensive stirring of particles. 2. Secondary mixing effect is provided by carrying the material to the longitudinal trough walls, and sliding back to the whirl between worms. 3. The third effect is brought about by axial pressure of the material onto the fronts of twin-compartment trough and successive pouring of the material to the other rotor. This complets a cycle, when one rotor forces the charge through one half of the trough and the second rotor forces it through the second half in the opposite direction.
