Data Logger Overview
The Model SA-XES gas detection systems include an internal data logging function that can store real-time readings for up to 30 days with a data capture rate of one minute. It logs date-time stamped readings, calibration, and alarm events, accessible via MODBUS output.

Model SA1 Smart Sensor Modules
The system monitors various gases using different detection technologies, including catalytic pellistor for combustible gases, MPS™ for combustible gases and refrigerants, non-dispersive infrared for hydrocarbons, electrochemical sensors for toxic gases and oxygen depletion, photoionization detectors for volatile organic compounds, and metal oxide semiconductors for refrigerants. It features an embedded CPU, signal conditioning circuit, and stores gas type, measurement range, and calibration data.

Features and Benefits
The system supports 1-8 smart gas sensor modules for detecting toxics, oxygen, combustibles, and VOCs. It includes meteorological sensors for wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, particulate matter, rainfall, and noise. Connectivity options include wired RS-485 MODBUS RTU, wireless 915 MHz radio, and LoRa WAN wireless transceiver.

Specifications
Electrical Specifications: Input voltage is 10-30 VDC, nominal 24VDC, with an optional 110/220 VAC power supply. Power consumption is approximately 4.5 watts, varying by sensor type and number. Serial output is Modbus RTU 9600 bps, with optional local alarm relays.
Environmental Specifications: Operates in temperatures from –4°F to +122°F (-20°C to +50°C) and humidity from 15-95% non-condensing.
Mechanical Specifications: The enclosure is made of polycarbonate, with dimensions of 16” H x 14” W x 8” D (406mm H x 355mm W x 203mm D).
System Specifications: Supports 1-8 Model SA1 Smart Sensor Modules with sample draw detection via an internal smart pump. Local display indicators include green for normal operation, amber for warning level 1, red for warning level 2, and blue for fault conditions.
