3. Measuring with the FluoMini O2|T 3.1. Measurement principle The Optochemical O2|T sensor has two active components embedded in a polymer host. One component measures the temperature of the coating necessary for compensation of the oxygen measurement. The other measures the Oxygen partial pressure. The total pressure of a gas is the sum of the so-called partial pressures of the components in the gas. A standard atmosphere is composed of Oxygen, Nitrogen, some CO2, Water and some trace gasses. Meaning the sensor should operate either via the software or via the display on the housing. When the sensor is connected to a PC it is advised to avoid operation with the sensor itself.
