Semin research 1.3 Warranty This product has a warranty of two years on the mechanics and electronics. The sensitive coating can be used for a period depending on the measurement frequency and environment where the sensor has to operate in, like temperature, pressure and average oxygen partial pressure. 1.4 Toepassing This sensor is suitable for measurments in water/fluids and air/gas. The sensor is not suitable for measurements in strongly oxidizing, strongly acidic (pH<1) and strongly caustic (pH>12). In general it is advised to test the sensor in the required application. 2....

4. Measuring with the FluoMini O2|T 4.1 Measurement values The Optochemical O2|T sensor has two active components embedde in a polymer host. One component measure the temperature of the coating necessary for compensation of the oxygen measurment. The other measure the Oxygen partial pressure. The total pressure of a gas is the sum of the so-called partial pressures of the components in the gas (formula 1) ݑ ðݑpݑܰݑpݑΰݑ = ٰݑ ݰݑ2 + °ݑ ݰݑ2 + pݑ ݰݑаݑ2 + ܰݑݢĎ2ݑ + ܢ& .. Because the O2|T coating can be considered as a small gas compartment, in gas as well as in water. Basically it makes no...

The box top-left is a status box giving extra information what is going on. The button <Start> starts the measurements. The status of this toggle button will change from <start> to <stop> if clicked and from <stop> to <start> if clicked once again. The results from the measurements will be stored in a file in the C:\Data directory. The name of this file can be adapted by changing the text in the <extra file identifier> field. The program should first be stopped to make the change effective. With the <Graph> button, a graph of the measured data will be presented. Below the graph a choice is...

Automatic calibration routine for zero oxygen and 100% air (see maintenance) 5. Onderhoud/Kalibratie This sensor does not need any maintenance besides regular check-ups and calibration if necessary. If the coating does not fulfil its specifications it should be replaced and/or if necessary recalibrated. Calibration Procedure: Place the sensor probe in a zero oxygen medium (100% Nitrogen gas flow) and leave it to stabilize for several minutes. If a DO sensor has to be calibrated, lead the 100% Nitrogen through a moisturized medium before it reaches the sensor probe). Click the button several...
