Safety Notice • 240V AC or 110V AC installation should be in accordance with current IEE wiring regulations. • User is advised to provide suitable protection for the mains supply, such as RCD. • The weight crate should be installed in a location protected from the weather. • Only use the power cables supplied with the weigh crate. • There are no operator serviceable parts inside the SDL 150 reader or the antennae. • Do not remove the cover or expose the inside of the SDL 150 reader for any reason. • Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of the reader or antennae. • Do not allow the...

Power supply options The power supply has ports on the underside of the box. • Mains In is for the heavy mains cable. • Reader 12V out is for the EID reader cable. • 5V out are USB ports for charging a weigh head or an X6 stock recorder • 12V out is for charging a Workabout Pro stock recorder. The SDL150 EID tag reader is supplied with three cables for different power options: • A heavy cable for connecting directly into the mains supply. • A smaller lead for connecting to the 12V port on the power supply box. • A lead for connecting to a 12V battery. Bluetooth connection to the SDL150 race reader • On the X6 main screen tap the Bluetooth icon. Make sure the Bluetooth is set to On. • Tap Pair new device to find the signal from the SDL150. Weigh animals There are six weigh options for sheep and four for cattle. – Weigh Only (cattle and sheep) - Records the date, each animals’ tag number and weight. – Weaning Weight (cattle and sheep) - Use this option to record weaning weights and dates. Trouble-shooting Guide Problems with Bluetooth 1. If the X6 stock recorder was switched off, in sleep mode or was moved out of range then it will lose the Bluetooth connections. - Make sure the X6 stock recorder is powered on and in range. 2. Check that all cords and plugs are secure. If the power supply fails for even a second the Bluetooth connections will be broken. 3. If none of these resolve the problem switch everything off, disconnect the mains and take the X6 out of the cradle. - Reconnect the mains and turn everything back on again. - Reboot the X6 stock recorder (press and hold...
