The BZZ series hydraulic steering control units are designed for vehicle steering systems and marine rudders, offering enhanced steering control with minimal effort. Key features include the elimination of mechanical linkages, low steering torque, emergency manual steering, and compatibility with various hydraulic systems. The BZZ5 series includes priority flow supply for improved steering sensitivity and system efficiency.
The BZZ series features a rotary valve and gerotor, connecting the steering wheel to the vehicle's steering system. It can operate as a manual pump if oil supply is insufficient. The steering column should not transfer axial load to the input shaft. Maximum steering torque is 5 N.m, increasing to 120 N.m in manual mode without damage.
Offers various mounting options and port codes, including different thread types and spigot connections. Displacement options range from 50 to 1000 mL/r, with specific flow rates and pressure specifications.
These series provide configurations like open center non-reaction, open center reaction, and closed center non-reaction, suitable for steering systems in tractors and loaders, with displacement options from 50 to 1000 mL/r.
Designed for load sensing applications, allowing shared pump use between steering and operational systems. Features a load sensing port for optimized oil supply and system efficiency.
Features an integral valve body structure for integration with cartridge valves for pressure control. Used in engineering vehicles and ships, it provides reliable steering control. Includes check valves to prevent reverse flow. Divided into 6/7 tooth and 4/5 tooth structures, with various sub-series offering different configurations.
- 101 Series: Available in open center non-reaction, open center reaction, and closed center non-reaction configurations, without integrated valves.
- 101S Series: Includes integrated relief, shock, suction, and check valves for a compact design.
- 103-1 Series: Compact design for narrow spaces, used in low-speed vehicles, offering powerful steering force.
- 103S-4 Series: Adds relief and inlet check valve functions to the 103-1 series.
- 103S-4 Series: Displacement options from 50 to 250 mL/r, rated flow of 5 L/min, maximum input pressure of 17.5 MPa, with relief valve pressure settings from 6 to 17.5 MPa.
- 109 Series: Displacement options from 20 to 80 mL/r, rated pressure of 32 MPa, with relief valve pressure settings from 6 to 10 MPa.
- Ensure coaxial alignment with the steering column and maintain a 1 mm axial gap.
- Correctly connect P, T, A, and B ports to the oil supply pump, oil tank, and steering gear chambers.
- Maintain oil flow rates: ≤1.5 m/s for P port and ≤4-5 m/s for A and B ports.
- Use oil with viscosity between 17cst and 33cst, and maintain oil temperature between 20°C and 80°C.
- Install a 30 μm return filter and ensure the oil tank is positioned higher than the steering gear.
- Regularly check and replace the filter element and oil to prevent contamination.
- Inspect the system carefully before attempting repairs in case of steering failure.
- Avoid unnecessary disassembly of the steering gear to prevent damage.
