IntroductionThe PSC Cleaner is designed to separate fine, medium, and large impurities from products using a double-pass system. It is manufactured by Silesfor DP s.r.l. in Italy.
OperationThe cleaning system operates by gravity, allowing the product with impurities to enter a balance distributor. Counterweights ensure uniform distribution across the width. The product descends through a cross air flow that removes lighter impurities, which are then decanted by a cyclone or filter. Heavier impurities are deposited in a decantation hopper and expelled via a discharge auger. The product passes through two levels of perforated sieves in two separate cases, which separate the product based on perforation size. The system can separate up to seven types of waste and by-products.
