Screw Conveyors Overview
Screw conveyors are designed for transporting cereals, granular, and flour products along horizontal, slightly inclined, or vertical paths. The conveyors are categorized into two series: CC and CT. The CC series is suitable for horizontal or slightly inclined paths, while the CT series can handle both horizontal and vertical paths.

Construction and Design
The conveyors are modular, allowing for flexibility in assembly. The CC series features a galvanized U-shaped case with a semi-polygonal bottom, whereas the CT series has a tubular galvanized case. Both designs have a minimum thickness of 2 mm and a constant pitch spiral equal to the diameter of the conveyor.

Mechanical Components
The shaft is mounted on roller bearings with cast iron supports at the ends, and in the CC series, also in the middle of each case. The drive mechanism includes a motor and belt relay, or for lower rotation speeds, a geared motor directly assembled on the shaft.
