Product catalog summary
Overview
The document describes the T-Sem drill, a versatile and affordable seeding solution based on the New Zealand pasture slot-seeder, adapted for European farming needs. It is capable of sowing a wide variety of seeds into different surfaces, including grassland, stubbles, ploughed land, and standing cover crops.

Specifications
The T-Sem drill is available in various models, ranging from a basic 3-meter version requiring 100hp to an 8-meter trailed version. The specifications include working widths, transport widths, number of rows, row spacing, distribution type, hopper capacity, weight, hydraulic services required, and minimum power requirements.

Key Features
- T-slot Principle: Utilizes a row of straight discs and T-Sem coulters to create an inverted T-slot, providing an optimal seedbed for germination and root development.
- Springflex Roller: Levels the soil without over-firming the slot.
- ADS Pneumatic Metering: Features a sponge-feed system for accurate seed distribution, capable of handling seed rates from 2kg to 400kg per hectare.
- Seed Transmission System: Ensures consistent air/seed mix and blockage-free flow, even on slopes.

Advantages
The T-Sem system offers superior plant establishment due to its ability to create a micro-environment that retains warmth and moisture, promoting even germination and rapid root development. It is effective in various sowing contexts, including min-till and conventional sowing.

Additional Features
- Calibration and Control: Quick calibration and user-friendly in-cab monitors (Ultron or Pilot) for precise control.
- Distribution Options: The distribution system allows for multiple row configurations, including tramlining and half-drill shut-off.

A sponge disc feeds the seed down a tapered groove and meters it into a funnel and then a flexible hose, through which the seed falls by gravity to the base of the inverted T-slot. This simple system allows very low seed rates of small seeds, such as white clover at 2kgs/ hectare, to over 400kgs/hectare of field beans. Very complex mixtures of large and small seeds of differing shapes can also be...
