SMAXTEC SENSOR The smaXtec Sensor provides continuous measurement of the cow’s activity levels and rumen temperature. Measurements are taken automatically every 10 minutes (24/7); recorded data is wirelessly transmitted in real-time via the smaXtec read-out devices and then sent to the server. Our optimized alert system enables early detection of fluctuations and changes in the various parameters so that corrective action can be taken quickly. The smaXtec Sensor provides support in herd reproduction and health management as well as providing valuable information about your cows’ water uptake behaviour. All of this data is integrated in smaXtec Messenger, which features many different practical user options such as, for example, the creation and administration of groups. Automatic alert messages are sent by email or APP (Android, iOS) if there are any abnormal changes. Representative cows can also be fitted with pH sensors. Rumen pH levels are of key importance in feed management and can be used to optimize feed efficiency.
