Hydraulic Function The hydraulic valves mod. IM-CM4V and mod. IM-SH they are of on-off valves that allow to open and to close the flow in the network without needing external power. The difference between the models is only to have the possibility of local hydraulic control (CM4V) or remote (SH). Operation The valve mod. IM-CM4V is controlled by a special 4 ways valve (mod.CM4V) that allows the total diaphragm opening or closing. The manual control is placed upon the cover in hydraulic connection with the valve chamber. A small handle allows to manually select 3 differents options: •CLOSE: it puts in connection the chamber with the coming pressure waters closing totally the valve •OPEN: it puts in connection the chamber with the external atmosphere venting the water outside and opening totally the valve •AUTO: this connection allows to equip the valve with hydraulic or electrohydraulic accessories for its automatic operation. The valve mod. IM-SH is controlled by a hydraulic relay (mod. SH) that allows the total diaphragm opening or closing. The hydraulic relay is placed upon the cover in connection with the valve chamber and it maintains it normally closed. Feeding the relay by an external line of pressurized water it is possible to open the valve from remote stations. Cutting off the pressure of the control line, the valve returns to totally close. Assembly Scheme Reccomendations - do not disassemble the valve or its circuit when the pipe is in pressure. - do not use with pressures beyond Nominal values.
