Product catalog summary
Overview: Thermobile's Bio Energy heaters are designed to operate using bio-oil, biodiesels, and various vegetable oils. They are not compatible with solvents, thinners, petrochemical-based oils, transformer oil, or any oil above S.A.E. 90. These heaters are suitable for workshops without explosive vapors.
Models and Features:
  • Bio Energy B: Produces radiant heat only.
  • Bio Energy B Thermo: Combines radiant heat with hot air from a top-mounted blower.
  • Bio Energy 1: Offers radiant heat and hot air via a blower.
  • Bio Energy 2 & 3: Feature a high-capacity axial fan for air distribution, with a heat exchanger for efficiency.
Installation Requirements:
  • Heaters must be installed on a level concrete floor.
  • Considerations include electricity supply (240V), flue pipe installation, combustion air supply, and access to the fuel tank.
  • For most models, it's recommended to draw combustion air from outside to avoid workshop contaminants.
Flue Kit Components: The flue kit includes a T-piece with a draught stabilizer, flue piping, a rain cap, wall brackets, and a high-temperature silicon rubber roof flashing and fitting kit. Proper installation is crucial for efficient operation.
Technical Specifications:
  • Heated airflow ranges from 1000 to 3000 m³/hr depending on the model.
  • Fuel consumption and capacity vary by model, with tank capacities ranging from 50 to 55 liters.
  • Flue connections and dimensions are specified for each model.
Additional Information: Bio oil heaters should not be used with waste oil unless registered with local authorities. The document provides a comprehensive parts list and technical details for installation and operation.
