La crescente consapevolezza ambientale dei consumatori ha spinto l’Azienda a sviluppare soluzioni brevettate specifiche in grado di rispettare l’eco-sistema e le più recenti normative sulla sicurezza dei prodotti. Il PVC da sempre garantisce ai tubi da giardinaggio le migliori caratteristiche tecnico-meccaniche, grazie plastificanti che rendono il materiale flessibile e duraturo ma che, nel tempo, possono migrare dal tubo all’acqua causando una significativa perdita di prestazione. Tra i plastificanti più utilizzati ci sono gli ftalati, oggetto di valutazione scientifica per un’eventuale restrizione nell’uso. FITT® ha risolto il problema adottando la speciale formulazione Phthalate Free che sostituisce PHTHALATE FREE E TUF: LE TECNOLOGIE BREVETTATE AMICHE DELL’AMBIENTE PHTHALATE FREE AND TUF: PATENTED ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGIES gli ftalati con plastificanti di qualità elevata e ad alta stabilità. Grazie ad un eccellente profilo tossicologico e a caratteristiche chimicofisiche migliorate, questa composizione priva di ftalati assicura la purezza del liquido trasportato, in conformità con i regolamenti Europei EU10/2011 ed EC 1935/2004. Per offrire agli utilizzatori più esigenti una composizione alternativa al PVC, l’Azienda ha sviluppato l’esclusiva tecnologia brevettata TUF (Total Unique Food) a base di una speciale miscela polimerica olefinica che, oltre a mantenere inalterate nel tempo le caratteristiche organolettiche, assicura prestazioni elevatissime quali una leggerezza di gran lunga superiore rispetto ai tubi standard in PVC, caratteristiche meccaniche invariate nel tempo ed una resistenza ad un ampio spettro di temperature (da -30°C a + 80°C). The growing environmental awareness of consumers, brought the company to develop patented eco-friendly solutions that comply with the most recent product safety regulations. PVC has always offered the best technical-mechanical properties for garden hoses, also thanks to the use of substances called plasticizers that make the material flexible and durable. However, over time, these substances can migrate from the hose to the water, causing a significant decrease in performance. Phthalates are among the most commonly used plasticizers and are currently being evaluated for possible use restriction. FITT® has solved this problem by adopting a special Phthalate Free formulation that uses highly stable, high quality plasticizers instead of phthalates. Thanks to an excellent toxicological profile and improved chemical/physical properties, this phthalate-free formulation ensures the purity of the liquid it conveys, conforming to European Regulations EU10/2011 and EC 1935/2004. In order to offer the most demanding users an alternative to PVC, the company developed exclusive patented TUF, Total Unique Food, technology.
