TUME CK - seed drills 1. Advanced technology 1. The Tume transmission is uncomplicated and therefore extremely reliable. The transmission includes two roller chains and very few lubrication poits. The transmission is prepared for the installation of seed dressing applicator, agitator shaft or grass seed box attachment. Changing the feeding speed to low gear for small seed is easily done by moving a pin from one shaft to the other. 2. Working width and overall width are almost the same. 3. A unique feature of the Tume range of drills is that the hopper capacities are greater than any other machine of similar width. This means less stoppages, less down time, higer output. When it comes to emptying, outles for seed at the bottom of the hopper can be easily opened to remove every last seed, eliminating wastage and leaving the drill thoroughly cleaned.

Tume was the first Finnish manufacturer of agricultural machinery to introduse the plastic coating-based painting technique. The surface is first thoroughly cleaned with alkali and then zinc coated. It is then electrostatically sprayed with a very fine polyester powder coating. At a temperature of 240 °C, the coating fuses to give a flexible film that stands up to heavy wear and tear.
