Harvesters: M2000 Cider Fruit Harvester This versatile pedestrian self propelled harvester is very popular in both standard and bush orchards. Output is over 1 tonne per hour, the pickup width is 800 mm. The harvester uses a hedgehog cleaning belt to give a good fruit sample. Centipede Apple Harvester Link to video: https://vimeo.com/298480040 Centipede Harvester in 5.5 metre row This tractor mounted harvester is designed for bush orchards and can work in any row width from 15ft. to 20ft. The picking mechanism is very gentle and efficient and the fruit is cleaned by a combination of a hedgehog belt and a fan. The harvester is hydraulically driven throughout with electrical controls in the cab. There are closed circuit TV cameras to monitor fruit cleaning and trailer loading. The design of the harvester enables a four tonne trailer to be towed directly from the tractor's normal automatic hitch. This improves traction and weight balance. Price: Please ask for a quotation Centipede Side Sweep – front linkage mounted or mid mounted The Tuthill Centipede Side sweep moves fruit from between the tree trunks into the row. It saves you time and the cost of blowing fruit as it can all be done in one pass. It works on grass or herbicide strip, and can work in row widths from 14 ft to 20 ft. It folds up for transport. Front brushes and Side sweep coming back up the row These front brushes move fruit lying in front of the tractor and clear a path up to 2600 mm (8ft 6") wide giving a good clearance for large trailers. Tractor turning at the end of the row is easy because the Centipede brushes fold as they lift out of work. They fit directly onto a standard tractor three point linkage.
