ORGANO-MINERAL FERTILIZER NK (Ca) 10-20 (12) with manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn) with ion exchange resins FLEXIFERT 10-0-20 is an innovative organo-mineral fertilizer, particularly aimed at meeting the needs of rice and other extensive crops such as corn, sorghum, sunflower, in soils that are rich in phosphorus; it boasts the presence of ion exchange resins in addition to the large supply of organic carbon and humified organic carbon. Ion exchange resins, thanks to their total ion exchange capacity increase the availability of nutrients for crops, positively influencing their nutritional balance. They improve soil structure and physical properties, by retaining water; they can influence the soil pH. They thereby increase the efficiency of the nutrients in the soil and enhance the effectiveness of the organo-mineral fertilizers, in synergy with humified organic carbon, for longlasting protection of nutrients, longer available for crops which assimilate them when needed. FLEXIFERT 10-0-20 is hence particularly suitable for rice - a crop with sustained pace of nutrients removal - in those areas with potassium deficiency, which require a gradual nutrient transfer and resistance to losses by leaching. The nutrients nitrogen and potassium, with microelements zinc and manganese, being widely available for the entire crop cycle, ensure optimum crop yield: the reduction of losses due to insolubility, leaching and volatilization allows flexibility of the fertilizing cycle with the option of applying it before the normal period of nutritional use, avoiding waste.
