Valmetal grain rollers are designed to break different types of grains to extract nutrients, making them more digestible. The processed material is directed to a mixer to produce Total Mixed Ration (TMR).

The roller mill crushes grain using powerful rollers, offering low-cost processing of dry corn, wet corn, barley, and soybeans. It is primarily used in the dairy industry for TMR production and by microbreweries for beer manufacturing.

Rollers with 140 or 280 grooves are available, depending on the desired grind texture. The 140 grooves are used for corn, while 280 grooves are for smaller grains. The pressure and distance can be adjusted using levers, maintained by a spring system. The 4R12 model includes two sets of rollers for processing multiple grain types.
