Fully weatherproof and contains a Siemens soft starter which helps protect the drum motor from overloading and voltage dips from the power grid. THE PATENTED SMARTFEED SYSTEM. BUILT WITH OPERATOR SAFETY IN MIND. DANFOSS ELECTRIC MOTORS. The BC1000E features two Danfoss induction electric motors. A 55 kW (73.8 hp) powers the drum while the 3 kW (4 hp) runs the infeed roller via hydraulic circuit. Both the drum and rollers are IP55-certified and enclosed by an all-steel hood, helping protect them from weather and worksite conditions. A LARGE RECTANGULAR 12 IN X 17 IN (30.5 CM X 43.2 CM) FEED OPENING. Helps Through the patented bottom-stop feed bar which is located along the bottom of the feed table. This system makes it possible for an operator to strike the bar and shut off the feed mechanism. Dual reset/hold-to-run buttons allow the operator readily reset the bottom-stop feed bar. Maximizes operator productivity while reducing strain on vital equipment components. The feed-sensing control system monitors motor current and automatically stops or reverses the feed when feeding large, hardwood material. with productivity by reducing the need to trim material before feeding it into the chipper.
