COMPOST TURNER AGGRESSIVE FLAILS. The aggressive Vermeer flails ensure aeration and mixing. When properly aerated, the composting cycle is considerably shortened and site throughput is increased. CONTAINMENT CURTAINS. Rubber containment curtains draped over the front and back help keep material in the windrow, reducing the quantity and distance of thrown objects. CONVENIENT TOWING. An optional low-speed transport kit makes converting between work and transport modes quicker and easier using tow-tractor hydraulics and simple hand tools. PRECISE CONTROL. Equipped with independently controlled lift cylinders for thorough aeration of the compost pile. HEAVY-DUTY FRAME. Constructed of four members of 4" x 3" x 3/16" (10.2 cm x 7.6 cm x .5 cm) structural steel tubing and steel plate. Heavy-duty frame adds rigidity to the unit to help prolong the life of bearings and drum shafts. EASE OF MAINTENANCE. All grease points are accessible from ground level.
