Sakura - 1

Sakura is an all-around outstanding tomato. One of the most widely adapted cherry tomato varieties on the market, Sakura does exceptionally well under both cool and hot conditions and is well suited for unheated greenhouse and open field production. This beautiful red cherry matures early, producing high yields of sweet, great tasting fruit. Sakura has mid-sized round fruits that fill pints quickly. This variety is tolerant to cracking, with well attached sepals and trusses of 20 fruit or more. The fruits have an excellent sweet tomato flavor and are firm without being too hard. Sakura’s vigorous habit is balanced by an open leaf cover that allows for easier management. A prolific yielder, the plant will continue to produce throughout the growing season due to its tolerance to temperature fluctuations and its strong disease package including resistance to Grey mold (Ff:A-E) and Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV). HIGH RESISTANCE: Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV); Grey leaf mold (Ff:A-E); Fusarium wilt (Fol:0-1). INTERMEDIATE RESISTANCE: Nematode (Ma/Mi/Mj).
