Laboratory cleaner & graderLA-LST The LA-LST is a precision/fine cleaner/grader for laboratory use as well as for small scale production in research stations, institutes etc. The LA-LST can be used for batch and continuous flow separation and is very well suited for preparation of all seed types such as vegetable seed, grain, oil seed, grass seed, clover seed etc. as well as for flower seed and spices. Continuous cleaning capacity of up to 150 kg per hour on wheat. In standard construction, the LA-LST machines are delivered with the following features. The machine is fitted with inlet hopper and vibratory feeder with start/stop and potentiometer. The aspiration system is with preaspiration and final aspiration as well as air recirculation system with built-in fan and dust suction unit. The eccentric shaft is fitted with tachometer with digital readout of the rpm. The screen system consists of one sieveboat with 1 short scalping screen 275x275 mm and 2 long grading/-sand screens 275x540 mm which gives a total screen area of 0.34 m2. The long screens are rubber ball cleaned. Finally, the machine is fitted with indented cylinder. Both units can be operated separately; the indented cylinder must then be furnished with inlet hopper and vibratory unit. The machine is complete with speed drive with frequency converter and digital readout. Motors are for 1 x 240 V, 50 Hz; fan motor is 0.75 kW, drive motor 0.37 kW with frequency converter, cylinder motor 90 W, and motor for vibratory feeder 0.05 kW. The machine has collecting bins for waste and prime product and is mounted on a convenient worktable. The machine is of steel construction with sieveboats of laminated wood.
