Laboratory screen cleanerLA-S The LA-S screen cleaner is a cleaner for laboratory use as well as for small scale production in research stations, institutes etc. The LA-S can be used for batch and continuous flow separation and is very well suited for preparation of all seed types such as vegetable seed, grain, oil seed, grass seed, clover seed etc. as well as for flower seed and spices. In standard construction, the LA-S machines are delivered with the following features. The machine is fitted with inlet hopper and vibratory feeder with start/stop and potentiometer. The screen system consists of one sieveboat with 1 short scalping screen 275x275 mm and 2 long grading/-sand screens 275x540 mm which gives a total screen area of 0.34 m2. The long screens are rubber ball cleaned. The machine is complete with speed drive with frequency converter; motor 0.37 kW for 1 x 240 V, 50 Hz. The machine has collecting bins for waste and prime product and is mounted on a convenient worktable. The machine is of steel construction with sieveboat of laminated wood.
