SPRAY TIP TESTER - 1

Take the guesswork out of spray tip maintenance and performance with the Redball™ Spray Tip Tester. Save time and money while you quickly and accurately determine spray tip output. This revolutionary instrument makes identifying worn nozzle tips quick and easy. Never before has it been this simple to assure proper aplication of your agri-chemical products. This testing tool allows you to check each spray tip for uniform flow rates in just minutes. Just attach the specially engineered adaptor cup over a spray tip and read approximate gallons per minute (GPM) directly from the scale. Recent chemical industry and university studies show that six of every ten sprayers aren’t appllying chemicals properly and this misapplication is costing between $5 and $15 per acre! No longer will over or under applied chemicals be a costly concern. By using the REDBALL™ Spray Tip Tester, you will increase your spraying accuracy and ensure optimum performance from your properly applied agri-chemicals. The back cover opens with a coin providing a convenient storage area for extra tips (to replace worn ones) and a tip cleaning brush. The Redball™ Spray Tip Tester assures accurate flow rates and uniform application when used according to the following instructions: 1 Clean nozzle tips and screens prior to testing. 2 Fill or partially fill your tank with clean water only. Do not add chemicals at this time. All manufactures tips are calibrated using water only. 3 Turn on the spraying system. Adjust pressure and RPM (engine speed) to desired operating level. 4 With one hand, hold the Redball™ Spray Tip Tester vertically with the other hand, hold the nozzle adapter so that the spray tip fits snugly inside the adapter cup and the rubber seal is airtight. 5 Allow air bubbles to escape so that clean water is flowing through the instrument. 6 To determine spray tip flow rate in GPM, hold the Redball™ Spray Tip Tester perfectly vertical. Take a reading at eye level. Read the number from the scale at the exact center of the float. This is your approximate flow rate. 7 Compare the flow rate to the manufacturer’s specifications for your spray tip. Replace spray tips as needed. 8 ALWAYS wear protective clothing when testing (to avoid contact with residual amounts of chemical) including gloves, long-sleeves, and goggles or a face shield.
