PRODUCT DATA SHEET: WPL Clic-Clo Microscreen Product Overview The WPL Clic-Clo Microscreen is a tertiary polishing plant which is used when further solids and/or Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) need to be removed to help meet stringent consent standards for new and existing wastewater treatment plants. The unique design of the drum filter maximises the surface area of filtration to achieve high removal efficiency with extremely low operating costs. Used in a variety of utility, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications as either permanent or temporary additions. They are ideally configured to be retrofitted to the existing works to assist with final effluent discharge compliance. The easy to install cartridge based screen cloth, removes the need for time consuming cloth maintenance activities. • Fully automated system Process is uninterrupted during the backwash cycle. Adaptable installations Can be either above ground installation in a stainless steel cabinet or below ground installation in a precast channel. • Easy fitting cartridges The cartridge based screen cloth can be easily fitted within minutes, removing the need for time-consuming maintenance activities. Polyamide or stainless steel cartridges can be utilised (stainless steel is more suitable to some applications where polymer dosing is taking place upstream). • Choice of Form 2 or Form 4 control panels To accommodate particular electrical specifications and can be connected to telemetry. • Integrated pumped backwash system fitted as standard Using backwash wastewater to cleanse the cloth. Collected sludge can be either pumped or gravitated, dependant on site levels.
