The plant The twin-shaft paddle mixer in vacuum proof execution is in the centre of the installation. The mixer inlet is provided with an air tight butterfly valve, while the outlet equipped with two pneumatic operated bomb-doors gives out into the vacuum proof surge hopper. The special mixing paddles, in combination with a relatively low rotational speed, ensure a product friendly handling, thus avoiding abrasion of product.
